(person or organization)<\/p>\n<h1>\n\t\tCelebrating Diverse Lives\n\t<\/h1>\n\t<p>Championing protection, freedom and equality for trans, gender diverse and intersex people. (person)<\/p>\n<h1>\n\t\tEmerging leader\n\t<\/h1>\n\t<p>Reimagining LGBTIQ+ liberation for a new generation. (person)<\/p>\n<h1>\n\t\tLifelong pursuit of equality\n\t<\/h1>\n\t<p>Pioneering, enduring and far-reaching influence on equality progress. (person)<\/p>\n<h1>\n\t\tExtraordinary ally\n\t<\/h1>\n\t<p>Celebrating friends of our communities who are passionately enhancing freedom for others. (person)<\/p>\n<h1>\n\t\tHow it works\n\t<\/h1>\n\t<p>Public nominations for the five categories will be open from 17 March to 17 April 2026. From 17 March there will be an online form for nominations on this site.<\/p>\n<p>For detailed information about criteria for nominations and who can nominate please see our <a href=\"https:\/\/internationalprideawards.org\/en\/nominations\/\">Nominations<\/a> page.<\/p>\n<p>The nominations will be verified by the International Pride Awards team, and all information on the forms checked to make sure that the criteria have been met. A long list of nominees for each category will be submitted to our Awards Committee for discussion and evaluation.<\/p>\n<p>Provisional awardees for each category are then subject to a due diligence process.<\/p>\n<p>The awardees will be announced live at a ceremony in Amsterdam, The Netherlands on 5 August 2026, which will be part of WorldPride Amsterdam.<\/p>\n<h1>\n\t\tThe Awards Committee\n\t<\/h1>\n\t<p>A diverse committee from all over the world has been assembled by UNDP and ILGA World.
