Yet hundreds of millions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer (LGBTIQ+) people still face discrimination, rejection, poverty, violence, prison, torture and even death – just for being who they are.<\/p>\r\n

En una ceremonia que se celebrar\u00e1 en la Ciudad del Cabo (Sud\u00e1frica) el 13 de noviembre de 2024, reconoceremos la incre\u00edble labor de cinco personas heroicas y su trabajo por la igualdad LGBTIQ+ de todo el mundo que est\u00e1n marcando la diferencia.<\/p>\r\n

No matter our differences, we all want to live in a world where we feel safe and thrive. But for many LGBTIQ+ people, that’s still very far away – because of the discrimination, stigma and violence they face every day.<\/p>\r\n\t
