INTERNATIONAL PRIDE AWARDS
Back for 2026 – recognizing LGBTIQ+
equality heroes and inspiring action
All countries are obligated to promote and protect the human rights of all persons without discrimination.
Yet hundreds of millions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer (LGBTIQ+) people still face discrimination, rejection, poverty, violence, prison, torture and even death - just for being who they are.
The International Pride Awards seeks to shine a light on the work of brave and visionary equality heroes, to tell their stories, and to inspire more people to advocate for equality.
The award categories are:
Movement building in the face of hostility
Mobilizing for change and positively impacting LGBTIQ+ lives, despite a hostile and risky environment. (person or organization)
Celebrating Diverse Lives
Championing protection, freedom and equality for trans, gender diverse and intersex people. (person)
